Detroit wide receiver Calvin Johnson, the former Georgia Tech standout, is hoping to follow up his strong rookie season. Last season, he caught 48 passes for 756 yards and four touchdowns.

The Lions have a simpler offensive attack this season under new offensive coordinator Jim Colletto.

There is no confusion out there,” Johnson said. “It’s a system where we want to run the ball to open up the pass. We want to be able to attack with the run. I think we are going to get the job done with that.”
